About Us

Tim graduated in 2001 from the Royal London Hospital and has practiced in dental practices in the South and South West of England before opening Shelley Manor Dental in 2010. Tim enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but especially restorative (bridges and crowns) and cosmetic work. Tim enjoys chatting to his patients and likes to find out what their expectations are, and developing treatment options accordingly.

As a cosmetic dentist, Tim Doyle offers everything from teeth whitening, single veneers and crowns to full mouth restorations and smile makeovers. He enjoys restoring implants, working alongside our visiting implant specialist. Tim offers a range of dentures from simple acrylic dentures to all-on-four dentures (ie. dentures secured by implants).

Tim grew up in the New Forest and went to school in Southbourne. In his spare time Tim likes to surf, write poetry and go for long walks with his dog.

Tim Doyle is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).

Paul qualified as a dentist from Kings College London (KCL) University in 2016 as a mature student, having had previous careers in the health and fitness industry (1st class degree in Sports Science from Loughborough), as a British Army Infantry Officer, and as a Police Officer. These experiences have helped develop strong communication skills, and high ethical standards. He is totally committed to putting his patient’s interests first, has a friendly and caring nature and is very good at putting nervous patients at ease.

He is passionate about continual professional development, and shortly after graduating gained further post graduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons awarding him the postnominals MJDF. He has also completed a number of postgraduate courses, including but not limited to: endodontics (root canal treatment), composite bonding and periodontal treatment (gum health). In January 2025 he starts a 4 year training program through KCL to gain the MClinDent qualification (Master of Clinical Dentistry).

His first dental priorities are usually helping patients get out of pain and achieve optimum oral health and stability. This can involve restoring broken teeth and failing fillings (adopting minimum intervention dentistry techniques), removing teeth which are unrestorable, root treating any teeth which can be saved, and helping stabilise any gum disease making sure the mouth is as clean as possible (free from mature plaque and calculus). Then cosmetic issues can be the focus eg aligning (Invisalign), bleaching (tooth whitening) and bonding.

Outside of work Paul enjoys running and keeping fit, and spending time with his wife and three young daughters.

Amy attained her Bachelor’s in Dental surgery from the University of Bristol, qualifying in 2016. Amy has been working in general practice in Bournemouth and Poole ever since and has also spent time working with the Dental emergency service and mentoring newly qualified Dentists.

Amy holds a post-graduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and is dedicated to crafting beautiful, yet natural smiles that emanate nature. She is also accredited to provide Invisalign treatment, which she combines with teeth whitening and composite bonding to offer a conservative approach to cosmetic dentistry.

Amy loves building patient confidence while providing quality Dentistry and enjoys working with children and nervous patients.

Amy grew up in Southbourne and went to school locally. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hiking and kayaking.

Dr Amy Baers is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).

Tracey graduated from Guy’s Dental Hospital London in 1993. After spending a few years working in hospital dentistry gaining experience in oral surgery, she then moved into general dental practice.

Tracey has a gentle, friendly approach to dentistry which endears her to all generations of patients. She provides a whole range of dental treatments and particularly likes the cosmetic side of dentistry and improving the confidence in your smile.

Tracey, grew up in Bournemouth and moved back to the area from the New Forest 7years ago. She is very excited to be working back in her home town as a dentist in Southbourne treating her local community.

In her spare time Tracey enjoys singing in a local choir, the beach and walking on the cliff top with her dog.

After qualifying with a BSC degree in physiology I decided to apply for dentistry and qualified as a dentist in 2000 at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. I moved to Bournemouth in the same year and fell in love with the town. I am married to a dentist, Dawie, who also has a passion for dentistry.

 

I love getting to know my patients, helping them to achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. I have been in private practice for over 15 years.

 

In my spare time I enjoy exercising, listening to audiobooks and gardening.
